On behalf of the Payson Reaching Out Breast Cancer Support Group, I’d like to say “thanks a million” once again to the wonderful organization that does so much for our community.
For the fourth year in a row, the Pro Rodeo Committee has donated proceeds from the “Tough Enough To Wear Pink” night at the August Doin’s to help women in the community who have expenses connected with their breast cancer that would otherwise be difficult to handle. Whether for the cost of a mammogram, a prosthesis, mastectomy bras, insurance co-pays, or transportation to and from the Valley for treatment, these funds enable us to make it just a little easier while going through the tremendous trauma of dealing with breast cancer.
We would like to spread the word that while we are a support group, it is not necessary to be a member of this group to be a recipient of these donated funds. Just contact us at 476-4298 and we’ll talk about what your needs are to see how we can help.
We thank the Pro Rodeo Committee from the bottom of our hearts for their generosity and can assure them we’ll do our best to put the funds to their best use.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
