In response to Jennifer Smith’s letter, I submit that Rep. Kirkpatrick did listen to her constituents who flooded her phone and e-mail with pleas to vote for the health care bill. She listened to the Democrats and Independents who voted her into office and fully expected her to help reform our broken health care system.
