Jeanette Ann Groshelle, known as Jean to family and friends, died Nov. 19, 2009.
Ronald Groshelle, her husband; Michael Groshelle, her son; and her daughter, Maria Spriggs, will miss her, writes the family.
Ron and Jean shared 48 years in life and marriage.
Mrs. Groshelle was born Feb. 7, 1938 in Arizona and grew up with 10 sisters and brothers. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her two sisters, Eloise Sweeney and Leona Story; her two grandchildren, Jennifer and Jessica, and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Groshelle was a breast cancer survivor of 30 years and enjoyed all the special friends she made being involved with the Payson breast cancer group. Their friendship and support truly meant a lot to her.
“She lived life with energy and enthusiasm and leaves us with some very special memories. We now give her back to her mother, Sophia Horn, and all of her sisters and brothers in heaven,” writes her family.
Burial and a celebration of life was Saturday, Nov. 21 at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park, Payson.
The family asked that a special thank you go out to the wonderful, kind and caring nurses at Payson Regional Medical Center, Hospice, and an extra special thank you to Kathryn Spiess at KC Homecare, who was always there for them and continues to be. “Our family was also blessed by an angel during this time, Dee Redfield, our mother’s caregiver. We could not have gone through this without her. We ask that you support the cure for Alzheimer’s and cancer so fewer families will lose loved ones from these terrible diseases,” writes the family.
