Free series on alternative wellness practices offered

Gila Community College will present a series of programs offering information on alternative approaches to overall wellness starting this week. The program, “Mind, Body, Spirit Exploration” will take place at 6 p.m., Thursdays through Nov. 5. The programs are free and no registration is required.
The first topic, “Energy Balancing — Opening Your Energy Field,” will be presented by Marie Fasano, R.N., on Oct. 1. Juliet Wing will speak on “Mandala — Create Your Own Sacred Circle for Meditation” on Oct. 8.
Tom Russell speaks on Oct. 15 about “Super Wisdom — Stress Management in a Hectic World.” Tony Alfano will discuss “Ayurveda Part II — Rejuvenation and Life Extension.”
Mike Rose will talk about “Manifesting — Making Your Dreams Come True” on Oct. 29. Vivian Seville will speak on Nov. 5 about “Body Mapping — Becoming Cell-lingual.”
