Ever wondered how to make the water blur, the clouds pop and the colors glow as wonderfully in pixels as they do on your retina?
Then grab your camera and prepare for some practical advice on getting results with outdoor photography.
Professional photographer Dennis Fendler will teach the $15, two-hour course starting on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 4:30 p.m. at the Parks, Recreation and Tourism office at Green Valley Park.
Fendler shoots for the Payson Roundup and runs his own commercial photography business. He has won multiple awards from the Arizona Newspaper Association for his photography and frequently shoots rodeos and other news subjects.
The course will cover basic principles and techniques for outdoor photography.
The group will meet first at Green Valley Park at the end of Main Street in Payson. They’ll then move onto the East Verde River, for a photo session and field work.
For information about the class and pre-registration, contact Mary McMullen at the parks department. To contact Fendler, call (928) 595-0697 or send an e-mail to sepphotography@gmail.com.
