Payson Supply Line Thanks Community

Butch Klein and Lud Kaftan of the Payson Supply Line would like to thank the community for the incredible support they provided during the Swiss Village fund-raising event on Saturday, Sept. 12. Once again your generous donations helped us raise almost $1,300.00!

We would especially like to thank Earl Chitwood of Chitwood’s Cabinets who worked so hard to organize the event and grilled up all the delicious hamburgers and hot dogs!

Thank you also to Dan Good Flooring, Brenda of Paper & Metal Scrappers, and to all of the Swiss Village shops who contributed and participated in this event.

Thank you to KMOG for their live remote and to the youth group from Mountain Bible Church who worked so hard running up and down Beeline Highway with their signs and flags promoting the fund-raiser!

Over 1,080 boxes have been sent to our troops stationed in Iraq and Afghanistan during the past four-and-a-half years, and your support allows us to continue the effort.

Please be sure to join us at our next fund-raising event this Saturday, Oct 17 at Granny’s Attic, located on Highway 260.

If you like winning raffle prizes, you’re going to love this event! Stop by our booth to view some of the incredible thank you notes and photos that we’ve received from our troops. These notes are to you, the community that makes this all possible.

Names and mailing addresses of your family members and friends stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan can be sent to us as We would love to send them a box or two for them to share with their group!

You can also contact us at 474-6981 (Lud) or 474-6968 (Butch). Check out our Web site at

May God bless and protect our troops and we give Him thanks for all the support from our amazing Rim Country community.
