New Hope Equine Rescue is offering Christmas wreaths to support rescued horses. Orders will be taken starting Oct. 31 through Nov. 15. Orders will also be taken from 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Oct. 31 in front of Bashas’. Free delivery will be made Dec. 7-11. Each wreath, made with fresh evergreen boughs from Minnesota, comes with a hanger and, for each purchase, a tree will be planted. Senior Thrift Store sale
The Senior Thrift Store, 512 W. Main Street, is having a sale on men’s and women’s clothing. Blue-tagged garments will be 50 percent off the marked price; yellow tags, 25 percent off and orange tags, 25 cents per garment.
Children’s and boutique clothing is not included in the sale.
Coffee with CASA
Make a difference in a child’s life. Learn how you can speak up for a child in court. Learn about the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program and how to volunteer to help children who find themselves in the court system at a Coffee with CASA from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the CASA office, 714 S. Beeline Highway, Suite 201.

Holiday sale at hospital
The Mogollon Health Alliance Arts & Crafts Auxiliary will host a holiday craft sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29 and Friday, Oct. 30 in the hospital’s main lobby.
The sale features many unique, handcrafted items, Christmas ornaments, fire starter baskets, bird feeders, the ever-popular potato bags, afghans, baby blankets/ bibs/toys, Levi purses and much more.
Proceeds from the sale will go to support the many programs and scholarships offered by the Mogollon Health Alliance. For more information, call (928) 472-2588.
Soroptimist Radiothon
Soroptimist International of Zane Grey Country will hold its 6th Annual Radiothon in conjunction with KMOG and Chapman Auto from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 29 at Chapman Auto’s showroom, 100 N. Beeline Highway.
Teams man the phones all day to raise money for Time Out, Inc., Marcy’s Kids, Rim Country Arizonans for Children, and Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Awards.

Russian dance concert
The Tonto Community Concert Association is hosting the world-renowned, innovative Russian Seasons Dance Company in a performance at 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 29 at the Payson High School Auditorium.
The 20-member troupe will explore everything from athletic Russian folk dances to neo-classical and modern styles such as flamenco, tango, step dancing and Broadway.
Tickets are available for this performance and the remaining concerts of the season by calling (928) 478-4363 or paying at the door. Student admission is free with a paying adult.

Gigantic indoor yard sale
The Women’s Ministries of Payson First Assembly of God, 1100 W. Lake Drive (the church at Green Valley Park), is sponsoring an indoor yard sale in the church fellowship hall from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 30 and 31. All proceeds go to missions and charities of the church.
