What’s the perfect way to end your day? Come join park rangers for a twilight tour of Cline Terrace Platform Mound and enjoy its fascinating cultural history.
Have you ever wondered how people survived hundreds of years ago? Rangers will touch on farming, natural resource use, and archeoastronomy. Humans have been gazing at the sky since the beginning of our history.
Few scenes in the natural world remain unchanged after hundreds of years — our world is constantly changing. But the night sky remains the same and is a link to our past.
Join Tonto National Monument rangers for this two-hour program at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 31. Participants may want to bring water and must bring a flashlight.
The program is free, but please call Tonto National Monument at (928) 467-2241 ext. 25 for further information or directions, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or e-mail the monument at www. nps.gov/tonto.
Tonto National Monument is located four miles east of Roosevelt Dam on Highway 188.
