Name: Richard Alvarez

Why do you teach? I like to see students from start to finish a product and see them say I built this.

Personal motto / words of wisdom: Yes I can just do it.

Pet peeve: When someone says, I cant do this or I can’t.

Why Payson? Reminds me of my home town of Williams, Ariz. Snow, but not so cold.

What was your favorite subject in school and why? Shop class because we made so many different things which my mother still has and uses today.

What was your favorite year in school and why? Senior year. Just getting out and finding out that you do have to work and plan for yourself and family. Winning a class B state championship in football and basketball.
