Elk head not protective

Editor:
I admire the Humane Society of Central Arizona, trying to help by donating to their thrift store, giving money and attending their fund-raising dinners held at the Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. If they are “protective” why does almost every wall have a poor dead, stuffed elk head staring at everyone with sad glassy eyes while they eat their mac and cheese? Am I the only one who wonders why the Humane Society would overlook this? Please reconsider your choice of banquet halls.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
