Arrogant, bellicose, clandestine, dysfunctional, inept, and uncompromising are just some of the words that could be used to describe our current crop of combative Arizona State legislators. They can’t agree on a budget, they can’t cooperate with a governor of their own political party, and they can’t or won’t hold their budgetary meetings out in the open so that their employers, the taxpayers, can hear and see their deliberations. We need to send a very loud message to our state legislators, i.e., “CHIN” (Clean House in November) is around the corner.
Whether we elect more Democrats or Republicans, more men or women, or more liberals than conservatives, a new group of lawmakers in Phoenix is long overdue. In activity and ineptness should not be rewarded!
