The Payson Rimstones Rock Club presents its 12th annual Gem and Mineral Show Oct. 10-11 at the Mazatzal Hotel and Casino Event Center Bingo Hall located on the Tonto Apache Reservation, just south of Payson off of Highway 87.
Admission is $3 for adults, children under 12 are admitted free (accompanied by an adult). Discount tickets are available at the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, Payson Public Library and Payson Parks, Recreation and Tourism office.
Educational booths, as well as displays and lapidary demonstrations, plus vendor booths (with a vast assortment of jewelry, gems, findings, rough slabs, minerals, fossils, books, tools and more) will be available.
Funds from the show assist us in providing educational materials to our local schools and libraries and one or more scholarships to a graduating senior from a local high school.
The times for the event will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
