Barking Dogs Are A Nuisance

Payson’s Code Ordinance Title IX, Chapter 90 on public nuisance animal states: Any animal that unreasonably annoys or endangers life or health of persons or domestic animals ... disturbs the peace and quiet of any person … shall include, but not be limited to the following:

(1) Any animal that makes disturbing noises, repeated howling, barking, whining, or other utterances in such a manner as to disturb the peace and quiet of any person or deprive any person or persons of the quiet and peaceful enjoyment of their property.

My neighbors and I have signed a petition requesting that Animal Control take responsibility for condoning, by their lack of response, the on-going harassment of barking dogs.

Are we alone with our problems with Animal Control not enforcing their own city ordinance, thereby defending irresponsible dog owners? Join us. Support the peaceful enjoyment of property. Inform the Payson officials of your grievances.

Don’t stop until the problem stops!
