My 1966 El Camino Custom has undergone a frame off restoration and the body is still 100 percent original.
The engine is the original 327, but modified with the usual upgrades — ie: bored .060 over, race cam, ignition, heads, carburetion, headers and exhaust.
The transmission was also upgraded to a Turbo 350 and the truck runs a Saginaw 12 bolt rear end. The El Camino is Rouge Red with black interior and still a work in progress with some minor interior details to be completed.
