April is fast coming to a close, and as May and summer approach, the Payson Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department is lining up plenty of fun activities for all ages.
First up
MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Baseball Skills Competition is at noon, Saturday, April 24. Onsite registration.
This program provides boys and girls the opportunity to showcase their baseball/softball skills. Bring your own glove. This program is for youth 7 to 14 years of age and is free.
British Soccer Camps
Camp 1 - June 7 to June 11 at Rumsey Park South Soccer Field
Camp 2 - July 5 to July 9 at Rumsey Park South Soccer Field

This is a unique chance to be coached by pros from the UK. Register online at www.challengersports.com or at the Payson Parks, Recreation & Tourism Office. Register 45 days prior to the camp and receive a free British soccer jersey. The cost is $76 to $168 depending upon age.
Youth T-Ball
Registration continues through May 3. Games at Rumsey Park.
Each child that registers will receive a team T-shirt with his/her team. At the first- and second-grade levels, children will have the option of coach-pitch baseball. Games start May 22. Fee: $25.
Sprint Triathlon
Join the 5th annual Payson Sprint Triathlon Saturday, June 12, starting at 7 a.m. at Rumsey Park. The event consists of a 500-yard swim, 15-mile bike ride and 5K run. Register early. Fee: $50 for individual or $75 for a team.
