Reading groups will be formed at a meeting to be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4 at East West Exchange.

A meeting will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 4 at East West Exchange, 100 N. Tonto St., Ste. 102, Payson. The purpose is to discuss ideas and suggestions for various reading groups. Groups will be formed and meeting dates/times and book selections established.

Possible reading groups include: Mystery Books, which will be exclusively for lovers of mystery and suspense books; General Fiction, to discuss books other than mystery and suspense that are currently hitting the suggested reading lists; Brain Bookclub, a nonfiction reading/ theme group(s), to talk about books by a favorite author, books about a favorite subject, such as cooking or international travel, books about a region or time period, etc.

Bring along suggestions for other groups and group activities. There is a wealth of information online about reading groups. Do some research on your own and bring your ideas with you.
