Work Together To Overcome Hate

Larry Brophy expressed my opinion exactly and articulately in his letter “Why I support the Ground Zero Mosque.” Additionally, do the protesters know or care that approximately 300 Muslims were killed in the 911 attack?

On Sept. 11, 2006 a sculpture called “The Teardrop” was dedicated to serve as a memorial to lives lost in the World Trade Center attack. This sculpture was envisioned, created and shipped to the United States as a gift from the people of Russia.

Today, four years later we are still squabbling about what our memorial should be and now also squabbling about the possibility of a learning center-prayer center being located too close to Ground Zero.

Come on, Americans, wake up. We must work together to overcome hate to survive as a country.

Want to build a Synagog, Temple, or Christian Church in the City of Mecca or any of Saudia Arabia. Fat chance, they even have a. LAW prohibiting it. So don't preach to us about tolerance and hate. By the way, the latest US Hate Crime Statistics indicate Muslim's in the USA were victims 7% of the total Hate Crimes. Jews were 65%!!! I think you need to wake up and take off your Rose colored glasses.
