New Hope Equine Rescue has a limited number of the popular 25-inch Victorian wreaths — decorated, including lights — available for sale for at the New Hope facility in Star Valley in December.

These are the same as the beautiful, fresh wreaths from Minnesota sold by New Hope during its recent fund-raiser, which ended Nov. 12.

Please call Jean at (928) 978-5155 for more information and to order. There is also information on New Hope’s Web site, www. newhopepmuequinerescue.org.

Holiday bake sale

The Senior Circle Holiday Bake Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 14 at the Senior Circle, 215 N. Beeline Highway.

A couple times a year the Senior Circle holds benefits to offset some of the expenses of the free programs offered members.

The earnings from the bake sale will go toward a much-needed large flat screen television that will accommodate the increased classroom size and the power point presentations from the many speakers that lecture at the Circle.

Already, members have donated $478 dollars for the television through T-shirt sales and a Christmas Basket Raffle.

Sharon Myers donated a beautiful Christmas Basket that would probably retail for $150. The Basket Raffle has been a huge success and the lucky winner will be announced at the bake sale.

This year’s bake sale is a little different. The home-baked goods will be beautifully displayed and decorated in holiday cookie jars, plates, stockings and tins ready for you to gift or just display as a part of your holiday décor. Jam and jelly baskets “by Carol” will also be featured, as well as silent auction items.
