What a great Super Bowl game! No matter who you rooted for, you must admit that it was exciting, and the commercials made it worth the watching. Wasn’t Betty White terrific? Abe Vegoda is 89 years old and he was funny! The Snickers commercial was my favorite. The game was the most-watched television program of all time.
Tonto Village also received three more inches of snow on Sunday, to add to the piles of snow that we already had on the ground. A huge thank-you to the Gila County Maintenance crew that cleared our streets.
They also dug out a drainage ditch on the corner of Johnson Boulevard and Thompson Road. They made it bigger to let the water flow into the creek. A big thank-you to Smoky Slaughter and Tom Tanner for all their help. The crew is also shoring up the bridge and adding new guard rails for each side.
