Census Workers Coming To Town

The 2010 census is underway and Rim Country residents can soon expect to receive a letter from the director of the U.S. Census Bureau advising them that a census taker will be coming to homes to deliver a census form to be filled out and mailed back.

Between March 1 and April 2, census takers will be in rural areas, where most of the housing units do not have a city-style address such as 4505 Main Street. They will drop off a form, which needs to be completed and mailed back.

Census workers carry a tote bag issued by the Census Bureau and an official ID badge. Census workers will never ask for money or bank account information.
