Payson Main Street Guild members have drawn winners for the first of three Pot O’ Gold raffles. The fund-raiser is being held to help keep Tonto Natural Bridge operating. The next drawing will be March 5.
“The response has been so great that the guild wants everyone to know what a fantastic and generous community we are privileged to live in,” said Minette Hart, a member of the guild. “The reward for the generosity of our donors and the people who purchased tickets is in knowing they took action to help their community in tough times and show the state that we are ready, willing and able to take an active role in saving the bridge.”
“Keeping the bridge open is vital to the economic health of this entire area of the state,” she added.
The guild thanked the following businesses for their donations and support: April Bower of Down The Street Art Gallery, Head To Toe Essentials, Jennifer’s Skin Care, Mazatzal Hotel and Casino, MoJoe’s Café, Payson Candle Factory, Payson Florist and Gifts, Pizza Factory, Scoops, The Sugar Shack, Payson Roundup and Deanna Wright for selling a number of tickets.
