The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, which operates the Rim Country Food Bank, will hold its ninth annual “Tee Off — For Hunger” golf tournament Saturday, April 24, at the Payson Golf Course.
Businesses are needed to sponsor a golf hole. Due to the generosity of sponsors last year and the unfailing support of the Rim community, the Rim Country Food Bank was able to provide 7,087 food boxes, feeding a total of 23,965 persons ($566,852 value), and provide financial assistance for a total of $113,533, the group said.
Sponsorship will include your business name and phone number to be displayed on a two-foot diameter sign in the shape of a golf ball at one of the tees.
In addition, sponsors will receive a photo of your sign and a letter of thanks after the tournament.
Please make your check for $150 payable to St. Vincent de Paul and mail to P.O. Box 1317, Payson, AZ 85547 by March 15.
If anyone would like to donate an item for the raffle or a gift certificate, call Linda at 476-2540 or Sue at 476-3156 and we will be glad to pick it up.
