Organizers of the 2010 Rim Country Business Awards are thrilled to announce that applications to honor the businesses and persons for outstanding business practices and community involvement in the Rim Country are now available.
Pick up an application and nominate your business, yourself or that special business or person that has shown superior customer service along with making an impact in the Rim Country.
The award ceremony, along with a luncheon, will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 8 in the performance auditorium at the First Church of the Nazarene, Tyler Parkway and Highway 87.
Lattie F. Coor, chairman and CEO of the Center for the Future of Arizona, is the event’s featured speaker.
Download an application at www.paysonrimcountry.com/ businessawards or pick one up at the Northern Gila County Economic Development Corporation, Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce, Town of Payson Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department or Postnet. Deadline for submissions is Feb. 1.

The Northern Gila County Economic Development Corporation, Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Payson host the event.
Last year, Ray Pugel of Coldwell Banker Bishop Realty took home the honor of Business Person of the Year.
The Strawberry-based Fossil Creek Creamery was awarded Small Business of the Year, the Tonto Basin Marketplace Large Business of the Year, Vita-Mart won the Business Excellence Award, Kevin Dick Investments & Financial Services was awarded for their Service Excellence.
The Small Business Development Center at Gila Community College was awarded Small Business Advocate.
