My angel is gone

Editor:
My angel has gone on to another assignment. My Dutchess, (whose name should have been Queen) because she was quite regal, powerful and pampered.
But Angel would have been an even better name. She watched over me, loving me, protecting me and helping me heal. She worked with me every day in the flower shop, often late into the night, delivered flowers, ate with me, slept with me, played and walked in the park with me. Our walks in the park were key to improving my health.
She had her own fan club! Everyone who knew her, loved her! People often came into the shop just to visit her! Her purpose in life was to love. Many knew her and will miss her, but not as much as I, for she truly was an angel sent to me.
She may be gone from my side, but will forever be in my heart.
To some it may seem silly and maybe even sacrilegious to think the Lord would send an angel in the form of a pet, but I know. Does He not work in the strangest ways? Does He not say that we know not when we might entertain angels?

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
