GCC offers classes in Pine

Gila Community College is offering eBay As A Home-Based Business and a Photoshop course in Pine.
The class, eBay As A Home-Based Business is a one-credit course designed to teach students how to successfully sell on eBay and make a profit. The class will teach the skills required to open and operate a successful home-based business using eBay and other Internet resources. The class is taught by Gayle Goodwin, eBay PowerSeller and eBay education specialist.
The course meets on five consecutive Saturdays, Feb. 20 to March 20, from noon to 2:50 p.m. and is limited to 20 students.
Photoshop 1 / Elements (is a two-credit course. Adobe Photoshop Elements is the No. 1 selling consumer photo-editing software. This course can be used for personal or professional uses. Photo-editing, enhancement, organization and publishing are taught. Create professional looking photos, which can be used for fun or for business.
Create online albums along with free online Web sites for sharing those special photos with friends, family or associates. Jeannie Herford, who graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has seven years of experience in Photoshop, is teaching the course. The course runs Tuesdays, from Feb. 2 to April 27, from 9 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
