It looks like the Star Valley Town Council is one step closer to mitigating flooding with improved storm water drainage on Valley Road.
At Tuesday's meeting, the council could vote to collect bids for the construction of the crossing at Valley Road and Goat Camp Wash. The town has already received a $28,400 bid from Mountain Standard Inc. engineering.
If the council approves the resolution, Town Manager Tim Grier will collect additional bids for the work, which is partly funded through a Community Development Block Grant.
Also at the 6:30 p.m. meeting, the council will discuss appointing Bobby Davis and Roberto Sanchez as water and sewer commission alternatives.
In addition, Tetra Tech Hydrologist Teresa Harris will give a presentation on the well monitoring and rain gauge services Tetra Tech was recently awarded to perform for the town.
