Chris Greer and Craig Chance (right) recently opened a repair shop off Granite Dells Road. From vehicles to RVs, Greer and Chance say they can fix it all.
After providing mobile automotive repair to the Rim Country for the last five years, Craig Chance decided he wanted to settle in one location.
Last month, Chance and fellow mechanic Chris Greer opened Affordable Auto, RV and Marine Repair, at 519 E. Granite Dells Road, next to Payson Glass.
“We wanted a shop to provide better service to the Payson area,” Chance said.
In addition, Chance and Greer saw there was an opportunity to provide marine repair, because no one in the area was offering it.
While Chance focuses on RV and marine repairs, Greer handles all automotive repairs.
“Chris does everything from basic service to a major overhaul,” Chance said. “We are the one stop for everything, from upholstery to brakes.”
Craig has more than eight years experience working on RVs and Greer, 11 years with vehicles.
Chance said he will still offer mobile RV repair, but with the new shop, he can pull a 40-foot RV into the bay and work on it properly.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
