The Humane Society of Central Arizona wishes to thank the many sponsors, contributors, friends, volunteers and attendees who came together to make the June 5, “Country Wine, Jazz, Cheese and Chocolate Festival” at La Cienega Ranch a huge success.
The event raised more than $100,000 to benefit the animals served by HSCAZ and to help fund the new shelter building project. We are especially grateful to the Rusty Lyon family for hosting the festival at beautiful La Cienega Ranch, to Mark Lyon, winemaker for Sebastiani Vineyards for furnishing the wines and hosting the tastings and to La Cienega managers Phil and Audra Daugherty for preparing and setting up the property for the festival and seeing to the many details to ensure that needs were met during the event.
Many thanks also to Ancient Healing Massage, Annie Williams, Betty and Jack Raveling, Bev Brunner, Cindy Jacka, Cousins Subs, Digital Designs by Jeannie, Essential Therapies, Ezra Gutierrez, Gail Giedt, Gerry Reyonlds, Ginger and Rob Ingram, Hellsgate Fire Department, Julie and Larry Coleman, Linda Nannizzi, Payson Jewelers, Payson Gila County Sheriff’s Posse, Payson General Rental, Payson Roundup, Plant Fair Nursery, Postnet, Rim Rejuvenation & Body Work, Safeway, Jere and Sharry Sharrell, Robert and Susan Schulman, The Mutt Boutique, The New Ewe and countless ticket captains and others.
We are deeply grateful to the many friends of the animals who share our journey. The generosity and support to the Humane Society of Central Arizona comes from the wonderful citizens of Payson, surrounding communities and throughout the state. We are all one community with a focused mission to make things better for animals, “because they matter.”
