This month, the Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce will have two mixers, one in Pine on July 22, and one in Payson on July 28.
Two opportunities to meet new businesses, show your products and network, network, network. This will be a first in five years in Pine, and the 15-minute commute will be worth it, said John Stanton, chamber manager.
The chamber is also looking for anyone interested in donating door prizes in exchange for a commercial at the event. It’s a great way to get your name and company in front of groups of people. Please call the chamber at (928) 474-4515 for more information.
The Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce will be holding its next mixer with the Pine/Strawberry Business Community at the Rimside Grill Chamber Mixer July 22.
The Pine Strawberry Business Community and Rimside Grill invite you to a mixer under the tent on the patio of the Rimside Grill, one-quarter mile south of Pine on Highway 87 in Pine.
The mixer will begin at 5:30 p.m., with snacks, half-price draft beer and wine by the glass. Check out the great draft selections, as well as the house and vintage wines.
Try the variety of appetizers (using Fossil Creek Creamery goat cheese), which goes well with the half-price draft beer and wine by the glass.
Snacks on the patio, looking at the mountains, firs and sunset should keep the networking going until the door prizes and raffles begin.
Stay on for dinner on the patio or in the bar, 10 percent discount on your bill after the mixer (not including half-price mixer drinks).
Door prize sponsors (so far) include: Fender Guitar, Rimside Grill, Sportsman Chalet, Visions Speaking Rock Shop & Emporium.
The 50/50 Drawing proceeds will go to Friends of the Tonto Natural Bridge.
Tables will be set up to display brochures, fliers and cards.
Admission is $3 for members and $5 for community. Visit Pine at its best time!
Please RSVP to the chamber at (928) 474-4515, and consider carpooling with other members of your business.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
