Zumba
Senior Circle members are shaking off the pounds with Zumba. The dance exercise class meets five times a week. The classes offered include both a slow and basic version of Zumba.
The slower version, known as Zumba Gold, meets at 8:15 a.m., Tuesday and Thursday and the basic version meets at 10:15 a.m., Mondays, 8:15 a.m., Wednesdays and 5:30 p.m., Thursdays. The Thursday class is also open to Healthy Woman
members. Healthy Woman is a hospital-sponsored program that offers free health information and events to Rim Country women ages 25-65.
Zumba is a fun way to exercise. One of the best things about the class is the “jingle skirts” that many of the ladies wear during the class. The skirt is just a little reminder to put some hip action into your dance steps. The class is a great 30 minutes cardio workout. There is no need to register, just join in anytime.
Preserving Memories
Carol LaValley will be the guest speaker Wednesday, July 28. She will help delve into your treasure trove of memories so you can preserve them for future generations of your family. Please register for this event by calling (928) 472-9290.
The workshop will run from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and light refreshments will be served.
