Payson, Star Valley intergovernment agreement on council agenda

A grant agreement between Payson and Star Valley could soon be signed, sealed and delivered.
At Tuesday’s Star Valley council meeting, the council could sign an intergovernmental agreement already signed by the Payson town council for 2011 and 2012 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
The partnership would give each town roughly $280,000 in federal community development money to use over two years.
The Star Valley council meeting starts at 6:30 p.m., July 20, in the Lamplighter RV Park recreation room, 3933 E. Highway 260.
Normally, each town receives $140,000 in CDBG funds a year.
