Store Manager Recognized For Community Service

The Marine Corps League recently recognized Walmart Store Manager Quinn Cremer (center) for his years of community service. On Friday, Walmart employees said goodbye to Cremer, who was promoted to a Lawton, Okla. store.

Quinn Cremer, store manager of the Payson Walmart for six years, said goodbye to fellow employees Friday.

Cremer is moving on to management of a larger store in Lawton, Okla., coincidently, where he started his career.

Cremer told Walmart the only place outside of Payson he would consider moving would be to his hometown of Lawton.

Bill Sahno, retired USMC colonel, presented Cremer with a Marine Corps League Certificate of Appreciation and plaque for his years of community service.

“Quinn is a rather remarkable individual. He not only has managed his store in an efficient and effective manner, but has been most generous to the community, giving donations to civic, humanitarian and veterans organizations,” Sahno said. “He is active in his church and relates to the community and region. He will be missed not only by his store associates but also by all of us in the town and the high country region.”
