Rim Country Retreat Center

John Stanton

The Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce and Cruise Port Travel have joined together in an effort to promote Rim Country as a retreat center. Economic incentives will encourage groups to stay in Rim Country for one or more weeknights, Sunday through Thursday.

“It’s a win-win for everyone. Discounts will be available for hotel rooms, restaurants, merchants, entertainment, and attractions,” said chamber manager John Stanton. Cruise Port Travel will act as concierge to provide booking assistance for hotel rooms and meeting facilities.

Gatherings for craft groups, church groups, educators, rock and mineral hounds, antique shoppers, hikers, birders, stargazers and many more will find an easy, economical, and friendly experience in Rim Country. Additionally, local events will be promoted in the greater Phoenix area, as well as Flagstaff, Prescott, Tucson, Nevada, California and New Mexico through cooperation with other chambers.
