Bricklayers have a wall in place where a part of the old Capps School once stood.

The warm summer mornings have been giving way to spotty rain coverage in the Heber-Overgaard area consistently over the last week. We did have a high pressure front that made the cloud buildup moderately weak for a few days, but that is moving off to the east. The lightning shows have been on the spectacular realm at times keeping fire crews alert.

The Capps School bond issue is continuing with the new construction in the place where part of the old section of school was demolished recently. Bricklayers are starting one section. This bond issue is a major renovation of the school that has been needed for many years.
