Spend the money to fix streets

It appears now that the town will receive a $390,000 refund from ADOT for construction of the roundabout at Highway 87 and Airport Road.
Wouldn’t it be nice if they were to apply the refund to repair our badly deteriorating streets? Many of our streets are falling apart and dangerous to drive on. I know the town is “saving money” by not filling pot holes, etc., but the old adage of “penny wise and dollar foolish” may apply here! Let’s take the $390,000 and at least fill some of the more serious pot holes!
