Crabdree Insurance and Financial Services has moved from its location of 17 years to a new location on the Beeline Highway.

Owner Scott Crabdree said the move benefits his firm and his tenants.

Crabdree, who owns both the new location, at 431 S. Beeline Highway, and the former location, 111 W. Cedar Lane, said Southwest Behavioral Health needed more room, so he decided to move his business so they could expand.

The move also gives his employees a larger space to work in and places Crabdree near the center of town.

Despite rumors that Crabdree was forced to move or is closing, Crabdree said he still owns both buildings and business is doing well.

“It made good business sense to come over here and keep a tenant happy,” he said.

Crabdree Insurance and Financial Services offers both business and personal insurance from a variety of companies, including Allstate, Progressive, Auto-Owners, Encompass and Central.
