More than 70 brave rainstorm to attend chamber mixer in Pine

Thank you to the 70-plus members and guests of the Rim Country Chamber and the Pine Strawberry Business Community, who braved the July 22 rainstorm to come to the chamber mixer at Rimside Grill in Pine. Thank you also to our sponsors: Pine Strawberry Business Community and Rimside Grill and our many door prize donors.
We raised $185 for the Friends of the Tonto Natural Bridge.
As you may know, Pine and Strawberry have been under continuous highway construction for over a year. Businesses continue to suffer from the effects of these ill-timed ADOT projects that have caused some to close.
To all of you from Rim Country who came out to network, share stories, share food and drink: You are a community! While Payson is the center of Rim Country, it was great to see Payson members support their neighbors. Be loyal, buy local.
