While reading about the local St. Vincent de Paul’s going broke, came up with an idea that others might want to do to provide assistance to our friends who need a helping hand.
When grocery shopping, we use coupons and also get discounts on the food. Now, at the end of the month, we will write a check on the amount we saved to our favorite charity. Just keep your receipts in an envelope so they can’t get tossed away by mistake.
We call it our “Sharing Account.”
