Artist Hubert “Bud” Moran considers the stained glass windows at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church to be his most significant work.

Hubert “Bud” Moran is a new partner at Artists of the Rim Gallery.

His stained glass work is now showing in the gallery, located at 408 W. Main, Payson.  However, if you have been to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1000 N. Easy St., Payson, you have already seen his work.

Moran considers his most significant projects to be the windows he created for St. Paul’s Episcopal Church.

Moran worked as a teacher and school administrator for 35 years in both Arizona and Illinois, which he refers to as his vocation, but his avocation, or hobby, has been stained glass since 1982.

“My interest was aroused when spending time browsing stained glass studios, and it continues today,” Moran said.
