Travel Writing And Photography Workshop

Jaimie Hall Bruzenak will be among the featured speakers at a travel writing and photography workshop to be held June 12 in Payson.

Learn how to make travel pay at a workshop on travel writing and photography from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, June 12, sponsored by Arizona Press Women’s Rim County District.

The one-day workshop features award-winning writers and editors experienced in writing for, and selling photographs to, regional and national publications.

Combining writing and photography often doubles article sales as well as adding income.

Writers Vera Marie Badertscher, Jaimie Hall Bruzenak, and photographer Nick Berezenko are the featured speakers.

The travel panel features three journalists who choose to make their homes in the Rim Country: Pete Aleshire, Ken Brooks and Carol Osman Brown.

The workshop costs $35 and will take place at the Community Presbyterian Church, 800 W. Main St. The fee includes a light lunch.
