Editor:

The majority of the employees of the Pine-Strawberry Fire District would like to speak for themselves and thank Chief Bob Lashua for the years of service he has given us. Chief Lashua has served our department for over 25 years.

We feel that he has been a great chief and a great employee. Bob is a very capable leader and does a great job with operations and administration. All of Chief Lashua’s time and effort in organizing, guiding and developing personnel within this fire department has been a benefit to the entire community we serve. He is now ready to retire ... and should retire with respect and dignity.

Thank you, Bob for everything you have done for this department and we wish you the best as you move on from here.
