Candyce, Payson’s national recording star, will sing at the June 17 Chamber Mixer, and have signed CDs available for purchase.
This combined mixer, from 5:50 p.m. to 7 p.m., will be a real start to the summer.
A networking opportunity under the cool early evening sky at National Bank’s Main Street location, combined with great snacks from Macky’s Grill.
Come meet other business people and enjoy a beverage while discussing the latest Rim Country happenings.
In addition to normal door prizes, the owners of Macky’s, Scoops, Sawmill Theatres and Paper and Metal Scrappers have joined together to offer a “Date Nite Special” with all proceeds benefiting Payson Little League.
Brad and Derek will return with their 50/50 drawing antics and Macky’s will offer a 10 percent discount for dinner.

Chamber discount card
The Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce is soliciting chamber member discounts for a chamber-produced discount card.
The card will accompany the Chamber Visitors Guide, relocation requests, visitor requests and local requests for its benefits.
Chamber Manager John Stanton said the chamber will produce and distribute 25,000 cards to visitors.
Chamber members interested in participating are asked to make a one year commitment for their discount. The card will be presented at time of purchase. Discounts will be listed on the Chamber Web site, on hard copy at the Chamber, and discounting members will be placed on a list given to visitors and locals.
This program will start in July, and continue until June 20, 2011.
There is no charge to members, except for their discount. One card will be given free to visitors and locals, the second one is $1, to finance printing.

Scott Flake, an Edward Jones financial adviser, is excited to share that SmartMoney magazine ranked Edward Jones No. 1 as a full-service brokerage firm in its June edition.
