A Person’S Right To Free Speech

I see Ted Paulk wants to take away an individual’s right to free speech, as in Ed Welge. He asked if this paper is owned by Fox. Where does he get his information, from MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC or PBS, all networks telling half truths. Believing in the right to free speech! I read your letter and made up my opinion about your brainwashed mental state.

Again, free speech does not mean people have a right to have their letters printed by the local newspaper, just as I do not have the right to walk up to a pastor during a sermon and scream obscenities in his face. The newspaper, however, has a right to screen out letters it does not approve of or edit them for clarity before they are approved for print. If Ed Welge is really such a champion of free speech, why doesn't he start up his own newspaper and fight for his right to call our duly elected President a pinko Commie freedom-hater and write hagiographies about Rupert Murdoch?
