Circle Benefits Can Save Funds

Scriptsave program

A Senior Circle member recently came in to the Circle office and said she was astonished — she’d been a member at the Circle for more than a year and had never thought to use her Scriptsave card, one of the Senior Circle discount benefits. She reported she saved 50 percent on her prescription, which was a savings of more than $25 a month. Since the Senior Circle membership fee is only $15, that’s a pretty good return on the investment.

The Scriptsave program is designed for people who do not have prescription drug insurance or are on Medicare and do not have Medicare Part D. The Scriptsave card is accepted at all the pharmacies in town and offers 21- to 50-percent savings on both brand and generic medications. Another great program that is offered is the EyeMed discount. This discount offers a discount of up to 45 percent on eyewear. Alpine Optical on Main Street is the EyeMed merchant for this discount.

The Senior Circle also offers discounts on hearing aids and has over 40 participating merchants in the Rim Country that offer Senior Circle members discounts on products and services.

Tonto Gym fees due in July

The Tonto Gym renewal fees are due by July 28. Stop by the Senior Circle office during the month of July and take advantage of the great discount offered to our members. The renewal fees will cover the months of August, September and October.
