Do away with automated phone systems and put people back to work as operators
March 2, 2010
I have the perfect solution to the unemployment problem! Let’s scrap every automated telephone system in the country and hire real humans to conduct business as was done back in the good old days. After spending hours on the phone recently, handling everything from ordering medications to credit card companies to yes, even a church schedule, I am thoroughly sick and tired of trying to communicate with a disembodied voice. Imagine how many people we could put back to work, and how many callers would be less stressed.

Good people helped with home purchase, renovation
March 2, 2010
I recently purchased a home here and would like to describe this experience. I moved here from the Valley about two and a half years ago. After renting a home, I started looking to purchase. I found a home that fit into my budget, but that came with several structural problems. So I embarked on the adventure called a 203K Renovation Loan. We started in September and finally closed in December on the loan, after many engineering, HUD and FHA inspections. Then the renovation work began.

Hayworth not qualified to challenge McCain

First, I should disclose that I am an enthusiastic Democrat and would usually find great joy in watching Republican opponents tear into each other. However, after reading the article about J.D. Meth is not a newcomer to the drug scene
March 2, 2010
Though it seems that meth is a relatively newcomer to our culture, it was actually developed by a Japanese chemist in 1919. The Japanese and German governments decided its properties might be useful so during World War II it was distributed among soldiers and workers to increase productivity. Then the drug virtually disappeared until the 1960s and ’70s when athletes, college students and truck drivers used it to enhance performance and stay alert.
