Payson FBLA students excel at state competition

Payson High School students brought home 13 trophies from a recent Arizona Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) regional conference.
Payson High School’s FBLA chapter attended the Eastern Region Conference in Safford with 450 students from 18 schools.
The FBLA Regional Conference gave students the opportunity to participate in leadership development workshops and to compete in a variety of computer-related business events.
Payson students swept the PC Help Desk competition: Tyler Kennedy, first place; Nikolas Curi, second place; and Dillon Walker, third place.
Other individual awards included David Knauer, first place in Cyber Security and Networking Concepts; Harrison McKinney, first place in Technology Concepts; Joey Smith, first place in Introduction to Technology Concepts; and Dillon Walker, second place in Introduction to Technology Concepts.
In team competition the Computer Network Design Team, including David Knauer and Harrison McKinney, took first place.
Students will travel to Tucson this April to compete in the State Leadership Conference.
