College degree and major: Bachelor of Arts in business, master’s degree in marketing.

Why do you teach? I really enjoy working with high school age young men and women.
Family: Wife Joanna, sons Tyler and Scott, and all our animals.
Pet peeve: Whiners.
Favorite hobby or leisure activity: Hiking with my wife and our two German Shepherds, Diesel and Sampson.
Person in history you’d most like to meet and why: John F. Kennedy. He was a very intelligent and interesting person who was full of life.
Why Payson? We were always moving to Arizona when I retired. Payson had trees and seasons.
In school, who was your favorite teacher and why? Ken Fisher, he was my football coach and teacher. He taught me more about life and making choices than anyone else. He was tough, but fair.
What was your favorite subject in school and why? History, I was always a big war buff.
What was your favorite year in school and why? 1969, I was really enjoying college and went to Woodstock.
