Editor:
We want to thank everyone who helped to make the evening of music on Feb. 19 so successful. These folks include the talented performers, Community Presbyterian Church, PostNet, numerous ticket sellers, cookie bakers, help at the door, the attendees, and all who gave their money, encouragement and support in any way.
We raised $1,730, so were able to contribute $432.50 to each of four charities: Humane Society, Payson Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and Time Out Shelter.
This event was more than a win-win for our community. It was a win-win-win as it (1) raised money for these worthy groups, (2) introduced Payson area to Rodney Glassman, a young man with refreshingly new ideas about complex political issues, and (3) provided a great evening of entertainment.
We believe that you will certainly hear more about Rodney as he continues to explore, and hopefully enter, the race for U.S. Senate this spring.

Question of the week
Do you think new Principal Anna Van Zile has a valid idea in eliminating the Asst. Principal and replacing it with an Athletic Director position that would share her duties as Principal?
