Don’t waste money on the eagles

Editor:
I’m too lazy to research how much money is wasted each year for a bunch of government employees to keep Arizonans away from eagles.
Does anyone really believe that if the endangered tag is removed, the eagles will disappear? Give me a break! They hang out at Green Valley Park and are totally undisturbed by pedestrians or animals.
This appears to be just one more money pit to throw dollars into. Plus, I’m tired of Bartlett, Horseshoe and other lakes being put off-limits due to nesting area restrictions. No one wants to eat an eagle, (spotted owls taste so much better) ... they don’t need all this protection.
