Sun City came to Arizona some years ago with an idea of “active retirement” I liked the idea that maybe growing old could still be fun.

It seems to me that some of my generation around here hate the notion of Payson becoming a “college town” and offering a wide range of activities. They want to preserve peace, quiet and no more traffic.

To me we’ll get that soon enough as we continue to age. They want a college, just a different one. The name of it will be “Nursing Home Prep” where students will be made ready for custodial care.
